Raheem Sterling’s Sister Inspires The New Balance Furon v7 Pro FG

Chelsea winger and England international Raheem Sterling already got a capsule collection off the pitch on his collaborative New Balance 327 and now the New Balance Football athlete takes it on the pitch with his take on New Balance’s newest speed boot, the Furon v7, which takes inspiration from Raheem’s sister who supported Raheem’s footy dreams and the sacrifices they made traveling to training sessions via bus.

Raheem Sterling said “My journey to this point was far from easy but when, as a family, we didn’t have a lot, we always had each other, and we pushed each other to be the best we could possibly be. The firm ground boot features a Bright Lapis blue Hypoknit upper which secures the foot while providing stretch and support in strategic areas with the overlay featuring a colorful print throughout inspired by the bus seat pattern seen in British buses. The NB logo is featured on the medial side of the forefoot with New Balance branding on the lateral heel and an offset lacing setup to increase the strike zone while providing lockdown. As one of the lightest boots on the market, coming in at 6.2 ounces, the chevron patterned outsole bites on firm ground pitches and provides traction in cuts in any direction.
