Raekwon, Diadora, and Foot Locker have more on the way through the “Community Linx” partnership, paving the way for the next generation of artists and paying homage to landmark cities.
The program heads to the City of Angeles as the partnership cooks up the Raekwon x Diadora N9002 “Los Angeles” colorway, exclusive to LA. Built with a purple and gold look, the N9002 “Los Angeles” perfectly captures the city’s excellence and heritage.
Ahead of the release, Foot Locker Los Angeles hosted a private learning session with photographer, NORBERTO and “Beyond The Comb” this past weekend providing students with the chance to dive deeper into their study of photo and film through the Raekwon lens.
Additionally, students had the chance to present their own 15-30 second reel inspired by the work they analyzed during the session. The program came full circle as participants’ work was overlaid with music beats produced from the Community Linx NYC event. During the event, Foot Locker Inc. presented Beyond the Comb with a special donation to support their ongoing programs. LA’s DJ Charisma also made a special appearance spinning at the event.
