About PUMA

Although PUMA initially started as a running brand, the German footwear giant has tapped into its hardwood heritage once more with a modern approach with its robust portfolio of PUMA athletes.

Breanna Stewart became the first WNBA athlete with her own signature shoe in over a decade as the then-member of the Seattle Storm announced the PUMA Stewie 1.

Rumblings of a signature shoe started to surface after the long-time Nike athlete became a member of PUMA in 2021. In doing so, the unveiling of the PUMA Stewie 1 made her the 10th player in WNBA history to have their own shoe and the first-ever with PUMA.

The PUMA Stewie line joins the PUMA MB.01 and PUMA MB.02 as the only signature modes for the brand as LaMelo Ball and Breanna Stewart lead the charge for the brand.

The PUMA Stewie 1 kicked off with the “Quiet Fire” colorway in the fall of 2022 for $120. As Stewie joins the New York Liberty in the search for a title, all eyes are on what the PUMA Stewie 2 brings to the city that never sleeps.
