Puma continues to fuse the history of its storied past with today’s innovation with its RS-X series. The Puma RS (Running System) Series debuted in the 1980s and the legacy of the series is still felt today with the RS-X. The Puma RS-X was introduced in 2018 and was one of the hottest sneakers for Puma in 2019. The success of the RS-X was the catalyst and the X-factor that lead to the RS franchise we see today.

The Puma RS-X uses a blend of tried and tested textile and mesh materials on the upper, which leads to a combination of colors and materials that bring a premium feel and can fit your personal style. While the RS-X has an old-school aesthetic to it, there’s nothing old-school about the cushioning setup. RS technology is used in the midsole alongside and an Ignite foam insole for step-in comfort that lasts all day. The midsole also features uniquely shaped color blocking that catches your eye at first glance with RS-X branding printed on the lateral side.

The mix of new and old bring a classic yet updated take on the sneaker, which can be taken to the streets for how versatile yet unique the RS-X is. The Puma RS-X can be paired with anything, from shorts and a hoodie for a trip to the corner store or paired with your fit for date night. Whatever the occasion, the Puma RS-X is game.

The Puma RS-X franchise is available now on PUMA.com with an MSRP of $110. Check out the rest of the editorial images below and let us know how you’d style the RS-X.
