PUMA Football has announced its latest pack as the “Breakthrough” collection features a blast of color across the brand’s signature boots — the FUTURE, ULTRA, and KING.
In addition to the colorways, the global footwear brand has also announced that each model includes a women’s fit across. The women’s fit features reduced volume in the forefoot and a lower instep height based on the anatomical shape of a woman’s foot.
PUMA’s women’s fit has continued to evolve; I have felt a huge difference when it comes to the lock down and support the boot gives me.
Before the women’s fit we were wearing the same boot as the men, so the fit was not tailored to our foot shape. Now, I feel more comfort and confidence when steppingFridolina Rolfö, Barcelona and Sweden International
into the women’s fit UTLRA.
With the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup right around the corner, the PUMA ULTRA “Breakthrough” will be worn by Angel City FC defender Ali Riley, Fridolina Rolfö, Alex Popp, and Tamires in Australia/New Zealand this summer.
“The new ULTRA continues to push the boundaries of speed, comfort, and support.
We want our athletes to have the optimal weight to ensure the boot is light, durable, and provides the right support which is achieved through the combination of the PWRTAPE technology and ULTRAWEAVE upper.
We have continued to develop our unique women’s specific fit offering, which is now used by over 90% of our female athletes, which is a testament to how much our athletes love the women’s-specific fit.Stephanie Viera, Product Line Manager Teamsport Footwear
