For Fall/Winter 2023, Prada dives into the archives as the upcoming footwear gets inspired by America’s Cup. The sneaker silhouette of the season was originally designed for the Prada Luna Rossa sailing team during the 1997 America’s cup race.
Prada combines sporty textures with luxury finishes to create a collection of high fashion sneakers. The upper is made with tight mesh and premium leather, formerly seen on the OG Prada sneaker.
The toebox has been reconstructed, taking on a more moccasin-style shape with statement lining protruding off the upper. Prada branding is seen on lateral upper, as well as on the midsole accent stripe and heel. The sneaker is finished with a traditional lace system and sculptural midsole.
