The travesties have resulted in protests, brands donating money, and athletes further using their platforms for Black Lives Matter.
Ahead of the WNBA season, the Phoenix Mercury formally announced their plans to remember and celebrate Breonna Taylor, the Black emergency technician who was fatally shot by Louisville, Kentucky police officers.
