By most measures, the Pharrell Williams x adidas Superstar “Supercolor” campaign was a success, bringing increased visibility to the Shelltoe model via tonal takes and smart seeding during its anniversary run. Today, we see the first official follow up to Skateboard P and The Three Stripe’s homage to the Superstar via the Supershell “Artwork” Collection.
Focusing on the actual Shelltoe as a canvas for collaboration as opposed to the more mundane leather paneling, Pharrell has enlisted the help of Todd James, Cass Bird and Mr. to enhance the style staple. In addition, the creative of many hats is dipping his brush in the paint by whipping up six different designs of his own.

Scheduled to launch on August 7th at adidas Originals accounts worldwide, each region will receive select stylings to add exclusivity and chase to these mismatched makeups (that’s right, the left toe box designs differ from that of the right).
