Today I worked on my presentation during the whole day. It is difficult to try to put four weeks of work into a three minute slideshow. The rest of my classmates are doing the same thing, we are all just trying to be ready for the big day, Friday.
Today I had a chance to go to Nike Town. I saw a guy talking to one of the employees about the Nike Mercurials and the Tiempo cleats. Then the same guy asked the employee if the Nike Mercurial Vapor included an ACC package, and the employee said no. Then I came into the conversation, not rude at all, and told them that the employee was wrong, the Vapor’s include an ACC package, and I also explained how the upper is built. All this information was part of the lessons that our Materials and colors instructor gave us a couple weeks ago. It was fun to use the information that we learned at Pensole to inform others about the products that they want to buy. I have to mention that whenever the guy who was asking questions about cleats left, he thanked me for explaining him how the material worked.
Today we talked to our Materials and Colors instructor about final design details. That’s my rendering with my final materials, two different types of canvas and suede. Jared, Shaun and Stefan getting some rest. Sweet people.
