Happiness is a new pair of shoes – especially this new Vans collection by Peanuts. Following their first release from several months back, this collection delves further into the classic comics created by Charles M. Schulz, featuring the Old Skool, Authentic, Sk8-Hi, Half-Cab and Classic Slip-On styles.
The collection’s designs are inspired by the timeless comic strips and illustrations that appeared in the newspaper from the ’60s to ’80s, while Snoopy is even featured in the white squares of the checkerboard Classic Slip-On.
To celebrate the iconic Half-Cab’s 25th Anniversary, Vans has introduced a new character to the collection, known as Spike (Snoopy’s brother in the comics), who is integrated into various illustrations on the shoe’s upper.
The Peanuts x Vans Collection is expected to release on October 6 at Vans retailers and online, along with an assortment of co-branded Peanuts apparel and accessories.
