Frequent collaborators Parley for the Oceans and adidas have this time joined forces on a sustainable “Parley Pack” designed to raise awareness about ocean pollution and to promote more sustainable practices in both the fashion and sports industries.
The Parley x adidas Football “Parley Pack” is filled with sustainable football cleats as well as a sports apparel range comprising tracksuits, jerseys and shorts, all made with recycled ocean plastics. The jerseys and shorts are made with Parley Ocean Plastic, a material created from recycled plastic waste that is collected from beaches and coastal communities.
Over on the cleats, the Predator Accuracy, X Speedportal and Copa Pure all feature an eco-friendly outsole made with recycled rubber and a synthetic upper made with recycled ocean plastic. Tying everything together is the “Lucid Blue” and white color scheme inspired by the ocean, as well as a special Parley logo to signify the collection’s eco-friendly materials.
The Parley x adidas Football “Parley Pack” is part of a larger initiative between Parley for the Oceans and adidas to create sustainable sportswear and to promote awareness about the importance of protecting the oceans. By using recycled ocean plastic in their products, adidas and Parley are working towards reducing plastic waste in the ocean and promoting more sustainable practices in the fashion and sportswear industries.
