Parley and adidas have a budding relationship as the two brands create sustainable solutions for the sneaker industry. Their latest venture, the Parley x adidas 4DFWD, uses Parley Ocean Plastic to sculpt the unique 4D sole.
The adidas 4DFWD is a sneaker like no other as the lattice-shaped midsole provides flexible comfort. Parley takes this technology to the next level by offering a sustainable solution, through the use of recycled materials made from littered ocean plastic. Parley regularly works with adidas and supplies the materials used to make adidas’ Primeblue material. This textile is used here to create the cream colored upper. Black highlights appear on the recycled outsole, adidas Three-Stripes, eyestays, and ankle collar. To finish, the sneaker is complete with sea-green piping and a co-branded tongue tag.
