Sustainability in sneakers has taken sizable leaps over the past 24 months. Adidas strategically finds themselves at the front of this movement, fortified by in-house and partnering releases that ensure production of sneakers are environmentally sound and worldly conscious. Their joint venture with Parley of the Oceans is the greatest example to that end.
Ongoing into fall/winter, the successful union will produce an adidas NMD. The pair is previewed here today, showing a sustainable Primeknit upper densely coated in a light green shade with white accents. The shoe’s curvature has been altered slightly, while Parley for the Oceans marks the customary midsole tooling.
