Packer Shoes, founded back in 1907, has a history most sneaker shops can only dream of. They’ve been in business for over a century. That’s right, over 100 years, and still thriving through changes in culture, economy, and everything else 110 years in operation throws at business owners.

To celebrate, Packer Shoes partners with J.Crew and ASICS for a “1907” collection that stars the ASICS Gel Lyte III, a silhouette Packer helped ASICS champion during its 25th anniversary a few years ago.

Packer employs the “Dirty Buck” style of design with four new iterations of the split tongue silhouette in leather and suede fabrication with veggie tan liners. Oxblood leather, white buck, navy buck, and charcoal suede complete the collection.

Expect the Packer Shoes x J.Crew x ASICS Gel Lyte III “1907 Collection” to begin its release schedule on September 28 at J.Crew Men’s Liquor Store at 235 W Broadway with the oxblood and white colorways. On September 29, the Men’s Liquor Store will drop the navy and grey colorways. Then, on September 30, the entire offering will release on JCrew.com, select J.Crew stores, and Packer Shoes in-store.
