The Kid proved he still had it, cranking out 19 homers to edge out Jim Thome in the 1998 Home Run Derby. A leather upper complimented by Air Max cushioning and a metallic swooshed leather cross strap made these one of the meanest Griffey designs yet. No retro plans have been made public but one can only hope.
