After launching earlier this spring for the Warriors’ championship run, Stephen Curry’s latest signature release takes on a more off-court friendly look with Under Armour’s new Grey and Gum take on the Curry 5.
Styled in a muted grey Anafoam and knit upper, the shoe is accented by a sharply sculpted gum rubber outsole underneath a grey midsole. Subtle blue and yellow logo hits still tie back to DubNation, with the shoe’s lower cut offering up more versatility.
“We’re in that low territory, which was really important to Stephen and in many ways will bring us a new silhouette for him,” explains Dave Dombrow, Under Armour’s Chief Design Officer.
