Virgil has had his hands full this year. In addition to unveiling a plethora of new Nike Dunks, the Off-White designer has found another silhouette to innovate: the Air Jordan 2. A surprising choice due to Jordan’s personal relationship with the sneaker, there looks to be two iterations releasing, including a “Varsity Red” edition and this “Black/Blue” colorway.
Every Off-White collaboration has boosted the profiles of the silhouettes collaborated on, so this might be the opportunity the left-behind pair needs to enter the mainstream. For this darker iteration, a black leather base is seen below blue piping and red laces. Classic Off-White detailing, including a zip tag, Nike headquarters branding, and exposed foam collars finish off the design.
Look for the Off-White x Air Jordan 2 SP to release on November 12th following a delay from the initial September date and check out the official images below. What are your thoughts on the AJ2? Let us know on social media.
