Vans has clinched a number of impressive collaborations for Fall 2022, including the highly-coveted Supreme x Swarovski collection and even a pack from One Piece. The Noon Goons x Vans Capsule Collection delivers another exciting joint effort featuring the Vans Sk8-Hi, Vans Authentic, and Vans Slip-On.
For this collection, Noon Goons was inspired by Vans Warped Tour, the OC brand’s own rock music festival that toured North America from 1995-2019. Warped Tour was widely regarded as a cultural phenomenon for its influence on rock music and youth culture.
“I wanted to take all those great memories from that late 90’s-early 00’s and translate that into something real,” says Narmore, Founder of Noon Goons. “It was all about self-expression and how you put things together. I wanted to create three solid footwear styles that aren’t overdone with logos or branding; just Vans Classics done properly: loud, but laid-back. A true California sensibility.”
That SoCal sensibility is embodied on the different silhouettes through classic Vans aesthetics. The Vans Sk8-Hi has a White base, Black overlays, and is complete with a Yellow Vans Sidestripe. The Vans Slip-On lays back in cool Baby Blue, while the Vans Authentic goes for earthy brown. Each pair features Black trim that frames the midsole and has the Noon Goons logo hidden underneath. The footwear will be released alongside matching apparel including tees, hoodies, and coach jackets.
