Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Since 72” Nods to the Swoosh’s Roots

As the popularity of the Zoom Vomero 5 continues to surge, Nike is adding a “Since 72” outfit to the silhouette’s already strong arsenal of colorways.

Nodding to the Swoosh’s heritage and Beaverton roots, this upcoming Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Since 72” sports a white, thunder blue, and cream color scheme as a shout-out to Nike’s former Blue Ribbon Sports days. In terms of design, the pair is crafted from a mix of breathable mesh, leather, and suede accented with a TPU lace cage and heel counter. Further elevating the pair are the reflective Swooshes and the Zoom Air-equipped midsole unit, as well as the reflective 3M hits. Lastly, a “Since 72” inscription on the insoles, nodding to Nike’s founding year, is emblazoned on the insoles.
