Football is over until August, and with Spring Training starting the day before Valentine’s Day, the Swoosh is already looking to the diamond with the new Nike Zoom Vapor Elite J Metal Low. Inspired by the Japanese baseball style that includes speed and aggressive base running, these new Vapors are geared to get from one bag to the next as quick as possible. After studying high school hitters in Japan and researching their style of play, Nike created an upper that includes Hyperfuse construction on a baseball cleat. Dynamic Flywire in the mid-foot allows for greater natural motion, while slit vents all throughout the upper increase both flexibility and breathability for pure speed.  A Vapor Traction System on the outsole keeps them light, and more studs in the forefoot promote sudden acceleration.
