Our Kicks On Court Weekly Recap show is on the road at the NBA Western Conference Finals this weekend in Oklahoma City, and we’ve stumbled upon a few things, including Kevin Durant’s “Three 4 Five” KD IVs. In our conversation with Durant, he stated that the spelled-out ‘Three’ and ‘Five’ on the tongue and in the nickname represent his jersey number, while the numeric ‘4’ symbolizes this shoe being the fourth in his young signature line. The color scheme, featuring vivid shades of yellow, blue and pink, is reminiscent of the vibrant colors bike-a-thon participants wear. To finish it off, the KD IV “Three 4 Five” features a graphic of Kevin Durant riding a bicycle – something KD simply described to us as “just something different” on the heel.
