Long has the Nike Air Zoom Cut GT been lauded for its resemblance to the Nike Kobe series. Now the creatives at Nike have decided to renew the famed lineup with the arrival of the Nike Zoom Cut “EYBL.” The colorway honors the Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) in the United States, founded by Nike, and is composed of the top teams in the AAU.
The offering arrives in a black base with mesh and neoprene materials. Lateral and medial Nike Checks are displayed in the league’s signature colors orange and black. Other noteworthy details include a speckled midsole on the molded plastic components. Highlighting the pair is “EYBL” branding on the heel in a vibrant orange hue.
