As a pack honoring legends from the 1996 NBA Draft (the same year this shoe came out), Nike Sportswear cooked up two “what if?” PE editions of the Zoom Flight 96 for Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson. Today we get a closer look at the Iverson pair, which is a somewhat head-scratching choice by Nike since AI spent his entire career wearing Reeboks, but makes for an excellent edition of the classic hoops shoe, nonetheless. The Zoom Flight 96 receives a Game Royal nubuck upper with University Red and white accents throughout the wavy upper, all sitting atop a white speckled midsole and clear outsole. along with the Philly inspired colorway is the final and most important touch to make them an Iverson PE: a #3 stitched on each heel.
