Nike’s initiative to decrease waste and use sustainable resources has been widely evident through their recent releases. One outcome of this effort is the upcoming Nike Waffle Racer Crater, which will be targeted towards the ladies.

This offering of the Nike Waffle Racer Crater displays elements of the iconic Bill Bowerman experiment while also including characteristics of the recently released Air Jordan 1 Zoom High. The upper is dressed in a bright neon green, while hits of pink are found on the Nike Swoosh branding. The sneaker sits atop a dark, paint-speckled outsole with the signature waffle racer traction. Constructed using at least 20% recyclable materials, this sneaker looks to be an environmentally friendly footwear option.

The Nike Waffle Racer Crater “Barely Volt” is slated to release on October 1 at Nike.com.
