It has been a tumultuous week for star running back Adrian Peterson as he was recently indicted for a felony charge of reckless or negligent injury to a child in Montgomery County, Texas. With the Minnesota Vikings announcing his deactivation with pay, Nike has come out today to announce their endorsement contract with Peterson is suspended indefinitely, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell. With the legal proceeding taking place in the near future it will be interesting to see what transpires amid these terrible allegations.
