Nike is expanding its celebrated and sustainable “Space Hippie” collection with an almost patriotic Space Hippie 02. For 2021, the upcoming laceless slip-on will boast a colorway reminiscent of America’s red, white, and blue theme. Navy blue accents the extended pull tabs located on the tongue and heel, while a white Crater Foam midsole is seen below. Instead of red, orange is swapped in to accent the stitched Swoosh logo.
In terms of construction, at least 50% recycled material is used to create the knitted upper, while factory floor waste is used in the Nike Grind rubber outsole.
