Nike will continue to expand on its lauded Space Hippie lineage. Set to join the lineup is a Space Hippie 01 silhouette dressed in a stealthy “Black Volt” outfit.
With sustainability at the forefront for the Space Hippie umbrella, this upcoming Nike Space Hippie 01 “Black Volt” is constructed from a “Space Waste Yarn” upper and features a white Crater Foam midsole, both comprising recycled materials. Grey and black tones weave throughout the upper, while mismatched Swoosh insignias help to elevate the model’s look.
Additional pops of colors are seen in the midsole, which is due to the array of materials used to construct it. Final details include the yellow lacestays, white branding, and cork insoles.
The Nike Space Hippie 01 “Black Volt” is expected to land at select retailers and Nike.com on April 23rd. The retail price tag is set at $130.
