One thing I need to comment on regarding the Air Force 1s is their vast improvement on the inside. I remember my first pair of triple-white mids in 2003. I never had a problem with them but as soon as I laced up a pair 14 years later I noticed that the comfort had improved drastically. I suppose you would expect any silhouette to improve over time, but now you can really feel the ‘Air’ inside – there is a real spongey feeling under the heel. Thus, they are one of my go-to kicks for comfort.

As predicted in my last post on the Light Bone colourway of the SF-AF1 Mid, Nike continues to pump out other colours of this popular winter sneaker. The “Silt Red” makeup has a tastefully cute tone of pink on the upper, and the leather used is really nice in hand.

Another nice touch which I find really useful is the dual-zip on the back – they make for really quick getaway.

Pairs are available now at Sneaker Politics.
