In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Nike SB, Nike is both resisting the past and embracing the future. Reimagined classics like the denim “Reese Forbes” in a Hi with others of a similar vein on the way, they have also presented a look at the future of the line.
The Nike SB Zoom Dunk Low Elite, at first look, appears as a traditional skate shoe. Which, in a lot of ways, those principles certainly apply. Yet the slimmed, modernized frame is lighter and refined, and opts for a much greater implantation of Zoom Air. A ridged midsole heightens aesthetics while a translucent outer does much of the same.
