Skateboarding has come a long way and it’s debuting as an Olympic sport this summer at the Tokyo Summer Games. Nike SB has teamed up with Piet Parra of Parra to design the skateboarding federation kits for the United States, Japan, Brazil, and France.

The respective kits all utilize different landscapes that connect geographically to each country for design inspiration. They also feature a bird that symbolizes the spirit of each country and the cut and fit of each kit take from another sport such as a baseball jersey for Japan, a soccer kit for Brazil, tennis polo for France, and a basketball jersey for the U.S.

As far as the tech specs go, the Nike SB Federation Kits are made of Alpha Yarn and recycled polyester, similar construction seen on Nike NBA jerseys. The woven yarns help riders stay cool and dry, and the back of the kit has nodes to improve breathability and prevent clinging.

The Nike SB x Parra Federation Kits drops on July 17 at Nike SB skate shops and July 20 on SNKRS. Check out the official photos below, featuring Nike SB team riders and Olympians Nyjah Houston, Leticia Bufoni, and Yuto Horigome.
