In case you were not aware, June 21 is National Go Skateboarding Day. To celebrate the special day, Nike SB is offering a unique opportunity for skaters to participate in various events around the world. One innovative event is taking place in New York City. Nike SB Skate Safari Barge is a skate park custom built on a 250-foot barge The barge will begin in Flushing Meadows Maloof Park, and then will move to the Lower East Side’s Coleman Oval Park. The day’s festivities will conclude with a special demonstration from Nike SB pros, including premier skater Paul Rodriguez, on the Nike SB Skate Safari Barge.
