The Nike Sabrina 1 “Debut” Honors the Ducks

In 2023, Nike Basketball unveiled its latest signature family in honor of New York Liberty guard and Oregon Duck legend, Sabrina Ionescu, dubbed the Nike Sabrina 1,

The boundary-pushing silhouette (which we named Basketball Shoe of the Year as part of our inaugural Nice Kicks Awards) made its initial appearance at the renowned World Basketball Festival by Nike.

Now the silhouette has surfaced in an “Oregon” colorway, which pays homage to the Oregon Ducks’ vibrant team colors with its malachite, black, lightning, and stadium green outfit. Further elevating the pair are the homages to the team such as the playful “Quack” embroidery on the sole’s lateral sides. The pair’s mix-textile construction sits atop a dual-tone yellow and green foam midsole and a black and green rubber outsole. Rounding out the final details are Sabrina’s iconic “S” logo on the tongue and insoles, and lastly the signature “I” on the back heels round out the final design cues.
