Following the success of Nike’s Air Max 270 which released earlier this year in accordance with Air Max Day, the Swoosh previews its successor for the popular lifestyle runner.
Vindicated today is the forthcoming Nike Air Max 720. Hinged upon the same technical principle as the aforementioned 270, the Air Max 720 takes that foundation and offers compounding aesthetics and tech.
Whereas the Air Max 270 featured a large Air Bag around its heel and quarter paneling, enhancements to the 720 see that same technology circle the shoe in its entirety. A full-length Air Unit champions this progressive design that succeeds the 270.
It’s likely the Nike Air Max 720 will release around Air Max Day 2019. Energy releases before next March are expected but not confirmed. Stay tuned.
Update 1/31: Nature-focused Nike Air Max 720 colorways are due out on February 28 as a part of a “Nature” Pack. Look for the collection to drop on February 28.
