Nike is once again bringing innovation to the pitch with the announcement of the Nike Phantom Luna soccer boot. The innovative boot arrives ahead of the women’s World Cup this summer.

For over two years, Nike spent countless hours researching, trialing, designing, and styling the boot to create the most researched women’s-led boot in the brand’s history.

Phantom Luna is a direct reflection of Nike’s focus on being her biggest champion. From research to testing to design, we put her at the center of the process.

With Phantom Luna, we’re offering a boot that is thoughtfully designed for her with a new circular stud pattern and fit, helping athletes to move with precision and confidence on the pitch.

At the core of the boot is its traction. The Nike Phantom Luna features a new, breakthrough circular stud pattern near the toes known as Nike Cyclone 360, which enables players to move with agility, precision, and confidence on the pitch.

Phantom Luna’s fit is also tuned to the female footballer with its new upper design Nike Asym Fit — providing a more snug fit around the ankle, based on feedback from female footballers.

The Phantom Luna also includes Nike Gripknit on the boot’s upper. The “tacky” feeling delivers an optimal boot-to-ball connection as the Phantom Luna stays soft and pilable with the material integration.

While the Nike Phantom Luna was designed with and for women, Nike’s ethos for the beautiful game remains inclusive as the benefits and innovations from the boot will feed into further developments and advances in the women’s and men’s game alike.

The Nike Phantom Luna releases in June 2023 at and select global retailers.
