Nike Running is reaching a new milestone in its storied Pegasus line this summer with the Nike Pegasus 41.

The Pegasus genesis began in 1983 and, for the last four decades, the franchise has been the heart and soul of the brand’s running portfolio.

Known as Nike‘s workhorse thanks to its durability and reliability as an everyday runner, the Swoosh made certain modifications to enhance the running experience and continue to uphold the Pegasus’ signature longevity.

The Nike Pegasus 41 features a new full-length ReactX foam midsole and forefoot and heel Air Zoom units, marking the first time that ReactX foam enters the Pegasus series. The new foam provides over 13 percent more energy return compared to React foam while reducing the carbon footprint in a pair of midsoles by at least 43 percent.

The ReactX foam and Air Zoom combination delivers a responsive, cushioned ride that runners have grown fond of within the Pegasus line.

In that same vein of comfort, the Pegasus 41 features a Dynamic Midfoot Fit system that ties the lacing directly to an internal midfoot band wrapping around the entire foot for complete support on every stride.

The Nike Pegasus 41 releases in June on Nike.com and select retailers. The 2024 Pegasus offerings will also include a range of silhouettes for all runners with the Pegasus EasyOn, Pegasus Trail 5, Pegasus Trail Gore-Tex® and Pegasus Winter Gore-Tex®.
