The recipe for success? Nike has a good one cooking. Take a great shoe rooted in sport heritage and give a nice, yet subtle tech upgrade. We have seen the Air Force 1, Blazer, Air 180, and Street Gato all receive the Lunar treatment. The next up for getting lunarized is the Nike Lunar Cheyenne.
Joining fellow heritage standouts, the Cheyenne sports its standard suede upper over a speckled Lunarlon midsole. White fills in the branding, tagging, and technology on this take, likely to launch in an array of colorways. The Lunar Cheyenne is scheduled to release at select Nike Sportswear accounts on July 1st. As stated prior, this is the second soccer/football based silhouette to receive the Lunar treatment. Most recently, Nike gave the Street Gato, a shoe designed for soccer on the streets, a Lunarlon cushioned outsole.
