Sneaker artist GourmetKickz capitalizes on the trend by using the “South Beach” model as a base and remixing it into the Nike LeBron 9 PS Elite “Miami Beach” custom. This custom keeps the famous MIA color blocking, but blacks out the soles, lining and tongue. A pink flywire conversion and filament green sidewalls deepen the saturation, and a watercolor-style palm tree print on the carbon fiber upper adds unique artistry on the model. Drawing inspiration from the LeBronald Palmer 9s, a final detail is that the palm tree print glows in the dark.
