Late last week, Nike Basketball officially unveiled LeBron Jamesnewest signature, the LeBron 21.

Along with this upcoming “Akoya” colorway, nodding to his 8-year-old daughter, Zhuri, the LeBron 21 will also be dropping in a “Melo Melo” scheme inspired by the Dragon Pearl.

The Nike LeBron 21 “Melo Melo” is constructed from lightweight materials and features a venting system in the upper as well as a shell-like design to help contain the player during explosive movements. Lightweight mono-mesh reinforced by 360 degrees of zonal cables is spotlighted around the midfoot, which also helps to support and secure the player over the footbed. Perforations on the medial Swoosh logos provide enhanced breathability.

Down below, the LeBron 21 is equipped with a Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot and a bottom-loaded, 13-millimeter Zoom unit to support propulsion. A full-length Cushlon 2.0 foam carrier for a pillowy feel and a TPU midfoot shank provide stability and extra pop for dynamic movements.

Fans will be able to purchase the Nike LeBron James 21 “Melo Melo” when it releases on October 19 via SNKRS and select retailers. The pair will retail for $200. Keep it locked to our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar for updates.
