2022’s Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection was unveiled and auctioned off a few weeks ago and we get an official look at Sam David Phelps’ take on the Nike LeBron 19.

Sam David got to design the Nike LeBron 19, in which he states he was speechless since LeBron is his favorite athlete and a fellow hooper himself. The sneaker features a red bootie base with black mesh overlays featuring lightning bolts, which is also seen on the lateral and medial wing, alongside his signature. He got his own sporty wheelchair logo which is seen on the top of the forefoot with his go-to mantra of “Never Back Down!” inscribed on the black speckled Cushlon midsole. The forefoot uses a large visible Zoom Air unit and the heel uses an Air Max unit for impact protection. Lastly, a black outsole featuring a uniform traction pattern finishes off the sneaker.

The Nike LeBron 19 “Doernbecher” is set to drop on April 30th via SNKRS for $200. Check out the official photos below and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.
