Sneaker Spotlight: Nike LeBron 11

Many assumed the Nike LeBron 11 would carry King James and the Heat to the first 3-peat in over a decade, but the Spurs had other plans. While the Nike LeBron 11 can’t be blamed for Miami’s lackluster play in the NBA Finals, it was apparent that LeBron wasn’t a fan of his latest kicks…at least on court. The shoe may not have been the King’s favorite, but the Nike LeBron 11 was a frequent wear for Manu Ganoboli and other NBA stars, proving the model’s staying power. Designed with “Duality” on the mind of Jason Petrie, the LeBron 11 is one of the only shoes that looks identical upside down as it does right side up. Weighing in as the lightest Nike LeBron signature to date, the LeBron 11 features Nike Hyperposite, and it introduced us to a combination of full-length Lunarlon with a Zoom Air unit in the sole. With the King’s return home still on the minds of many, we decided to pay tribute to the last signature sneaker LeBron wore as a member of the Heat.
