The Nike Kyrie line continues to extend to new heights. Thanks to Ben Nethongkome and the Brooklyn Nets PG, the Nike Kyrie 7 is a new canvas that pushes performance.
Data collection, Irving’s artistic direction, and Nethongkome’s innovation all led to the evolution that is the Kyrie 7. The silhouette encompasses similar features such as Air Zoom Turbo in the forefoot, subtle details that pay homage to his late mother, and the signature jagged edges that have made the Kyrie line unique in its own fashion.
The Kyrie 7 stands out from its predecessors with its lightness, composite mesh upper, its data-composited traction, and TPU “fingers” that replace the once marquee strap.
For us, being creative means tapping into other disciplines at Nike. Our solutions as designers need to move toward technical advantages. Those advantages are what make this shoe better than the last.
