Brooklyn Nets PG Kyrie Irving is paying homage to Brooklyn’s hip-hop scene in the latest Nike Kyrie 7. While some may argue over which borough hip-hop was originally founded in NYC, it’s no question that Brooklyn was at the forefront of the hip-hop scene during the 80s and 90s.
The latest offering is composed of a white mesh upper with black detailing underneath. Additional details include forefoot molds, Swoosh logos, heel overlays, graphics of a boombox, and the Brooklyn bridge embroidered on the heels. Other details feature Kyrie’s “KI” logo on the tongue and outsole complete with image-heavy black insoles.
