Next in line from the Kobe Bryant’s Prelude Pack is the Nike Kobe VI Prelude. Leading up to the coming out party of the Nike Kobe 9, the brand in Beaverton is releasing a special edition of each of KB’s past Swoosh silhouettes. The Kobe VI Prelude pays homage to Los Angeles and its surf and skate culture, and celebrates the Black Mamba’s 2011 All-Star MVP award at the Staples Center. Bryant has always placed a premium on protecting his home floor, and did so during All-Star LA. The city is represented by a colorful artistic collage of stars, sharks and other sea wildlife, and a black mamba on the forefoot embodies the design’s inspiration.
