Yesterday it was officially announced that recently retired NBA legend, Kobe Bryant, would write, produce, and star in his very own basketball focused ESPN show, Detail. The show – which airs this March – will orbit one of Bryant’s favorite things to do: breakdown basketball by watching game tape.
Bean’s hoops analysis is among the best of any former player. The same can be said of his signature collection with Nike. Its continuance since he stepped away from the game largely falls on the Kobe A.D.; a new iteration of the Mid drops at the top of next month.
Two slash marks appear at the heel of this edition in strategically sloppy paint splatter while the paneling is pronounced with tri-Swoosh branding. A faux snakeskin is seen at the ankle collar joined with a dominant suede baselayer.
