Today, at an event in Austin, Texas, Kevin Durant and Nike officially revealed the Nike KD 9 – a revolutionary new shoe and Durant’s ninth with Nike Basketball.
Designed by the incredible Leo Chang, the Nike KD 9 implements Flyknit construction for a lightweight and modern cupping of the foot for comfort and lockdown, while a heel-to-toe Zoom Air bag odes to elder Swoosh innovation that has been made contemporary with enhancements over the years.
This first colorway, the Nike KD 9 “Zero” aka the “Preheat,” is available later today for $150 via SNKRS and at select Swoosh retailers now. The Nike KD 9 “Premiere” and the “Mic Drop” will follow in the months to come.
