The colorway is in dedication to Kevin Durant’s Aunt Pearl, who passed away from cancer in 2000. The sneaker features a multilayered mesh upper, using different shades of pink on the marbled upper. The heel counter features a wing-like texture, with the tongue featuring KD’s logo on the right sneaker and Aunt Pearl’s name in script on the left. The Nike Air Presto-inspired midfoot strap is seen in light pink with a Swoosh, with the same use seen on the lateral TPU counter. The Cushlon midsole features a gradient pink paint job with paint splatter, and a gum outsole finishes off the sneaker.
The Nike KD 14 “Aunt Pearl” is set to drop sometime in 2022 via Nike.com and at select retailers for $160. Proceeds from the sneaker will go to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Check out the official photos below and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.
