Nike, with the triumphant release of the HyperAdapt 1.0 this year, made technological strides in sneaker culture that many once thought impossible. In the years to come – more specifically in 2018 – Nike will release new iterations of the HyperAdapt 1.0 and, according to Tinker Hatfield, very soon a HyperAdapt 2.0 basketball specific model.
The 1.0 will be updated with new patterning next year as seen through this forthcoming “Habanero Red” iteration. It’s a bit more complex and gives the shoe a little more distinction. Nike is moving beyond the marvel of the technology, now enhancing the model’s sartorial expression and playing with varying looks.
Expect this Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 “Habanero Red” in 2018 alongside more new colorways. The shoe, for now, remains priced at $720 USD.
