The coveted Nike Go FlyEase returns in a new red and black colorway. This particular model of Nike’s FlyEase series made headlines for its ultra fly silhouette and futuristic feature that allows you to secure the shoe with a single step. The sneaker quickly sold out on its debut drop, leaving some people upset that the shoe was grabbed for hype, rather than being reserved for buyers that are in need of the sneaker’s accessibility feature. To this day, the Nike Go FlyEase resells for an upwards of $2,000 — making it unaffordable for the people that need it most.
The Nike Go FlyEase comes equipped with a tensioner band and bi-stable hinge to hold the shoe in a steady open position. You simply step down into the “diving board” and the shoe will snap into place. To release, just step on the “kickstand” and the shoe will open right up. This colorway features a Black tensioner band and Infrared upper, that’s covered with a muted mesh overlay. Finishing details on the sneaker include pops of orange and pink, including Nike’s signature Swoosh on the tongue. Hopefully the Nike Go FlyEase will have more continuous rollouts in the near future, so the hype dies down and the sneaker will be available to everyone.
