This fall, Nike will continue what they triumphantly began back in summer – re-releasing the Flyknit Trainer. Originally released back in 2012 in conjunction with the London Olympics, the shoe has played second fiddle to the Flyknit Racer for essentially its entire lifespan. That has drastically changed.
Nowadays the Trainer is on top, surging after some much-needed time away to grow in appreciation. Next week the “Cirrus Blue” pair – which first debuted back in July – will hit select Swoosh retailers on September 21.
