While it may seem as if “Multicolor” Flyknits are a genre of their own volition, sprouting off new branches ever so often, the popular trend ultimately began with one shoe – the Nike Flyknit Racer.

That conceptually brave model is set to return this year with one major update to note.

Primarily, the once black tongue construction now resides in a dark grey hue. Aside from that, all other original design cues remain true to form.

European Swoosh retailers are reporting stock of the Nike Flyknit Racer “Multicolor” on May 13. U.S. release details shouldn’t be far behind. Stay tuned.
